I'm an International Business major. After I graduated, I decided to get involved in the educational field.
After working in the field for a while, I realized that there's a lot of work to be done. A lot of our current education system just doesn't work.
Kids are only taught to be good employees. No one asked if they enjoy learning in school. Grades matter more than ever. Talents beyond academic performance aren't valued.
And there's a trend of kids being addicted to technology. I started to think, instead of stopping kids from using phones and computers, why not help them embrace the power of technology?
So here I am, teaching myself to be a programmer so I can empower the children with the power of technology.
